My name is Wendy and I have 13 years of experience working in the Criminal Justice System. My experience includes providing crisis intervention, group counseling, and individual counseling. I am trained and certified in CPR/First Aid. I have managed operational activities of a 50 person youthful offender and adult unit. I have participated in the implementation of De-escalation techniques for my department. I am also trained and certified as a Moral Recognition Therapy facilitator which is a technique used to modify individual’s behaviors and proactively address group issues relating to critical thinking errors. This includes substance abuse, drug addiction, and anger-management. My education includes a Bachelors in Criminal Justice, and I am currently working on a Master's Degree in Project Management. I am a professional with strong ethics and integrity. I look forward to providing a smooth transition and the best service to clients through this difficult time.
