Victor is currently a Safety Officer for Odyssey Community School an Alternative Education School for the SCCOE. He maintains safety and security for staff and students, and also counsel kids in grades 7-12. He has attended several gang intervention/ awareness classes, and also have had numerous drug awareness and identification classes as well as several conflict management and de-escalation classes. He is a former Law Enforcement Officer. He has been working with teenage kids for over 27 years that are from various social and economic backgrounds, and thoroughly enjoys the challenges it sometimes brings. He is currently married (29 years) with 4 children ages 11-28 years old. His hobbies are coaching basketball (currently the JV Head Coach at EVHS in San Jose since) and officiating high school basketball. He is also involved in his local Little League where he is currently a Major Division Coach (10-12 Yrs. Olds) and Board Member. His favorite and most enjoyable moments are when he can counsel a kid and see the “light bulb” turn on when they finally get it. He has been told that he has a gift of getting through to kids and making them see what is happening. He looks forward to helping clients out through difficult times and hope to make things as smooth and simple as possible.
